NOTE: This course is best if most of the people attending already have some experience with CBCT, even if only very limited experience.
This course will provide essential foundational knowledge so you can optimize your 3D images/CBCTs. We will refresh your craniofacial anatomy knowledge by reviewing the normal cross-sectional (3D) appearance of structures commonly seen in medium and large volume CBCT scans. Additionally, we will discuss commonly found anomalies and variations of normal anatomy in these areas in order to reinforce your understanding of normal cross-sectional anatomy.
Identify several anatomical structures of the craniofacial region.
Learn how to distinguish normal from abnormal findings.
